Here it is completely finished! :D I plan on doing one of Rose in this scene, too. And then I’m going to frame them. One will be hung on one wall, the other on the other side. ^^
Liquitex acrylic ink, Prismacolor pen.
Here’s a more detailed version of his face. I started doing some hatching for the cast shadow from his hair on his forehead, but it wasn’t looking quite right so I will wait until I color it.
Started on inking the sketch. Got a jump on the hair before deciding to call it a night. More tomorrow!
Pencil sketch of a scene from the season 2 finale of Doctor Who. Ten is my favorite :D.
Finished version! I’m on a bit of a Walking Dead obsession if you can’t tell. I’m going to draw Rick next. :3
11”x17” pen and marker on bristol
And here’s contribution numero dos of The Hawkeye Initiative. Taken from Greg Land’s depiction of Psylocke. This one’s my favorite. I think I will watercolor this one eventually. :)
So I’ve been following The Hawkeye Initiative decided I should - no - must contribute.
When I first heard of it, the first thing I could think of is Greg Land, so here is my first contribution. :D
Finished version of the pic!
This is the Italian Baroque portion of the Hetalia art history fanart series that I’m doing. It’s supposed to be inspired by Caravaggio’s work, but I got a comment on Deviantart that it sort of missed the mark if I was going for Caravaggio so I might revisit this piece at a later time.
Next is Spanish Baroque inspired by Velazquez. I’ve got some sketches in the works for it, but I got some other stuff I have to do as well. I plan on taking my time with these.
Photoshop CS5 over marker sketch. 16 hours.
A WIP of the colored version of the Italian Baroque portion of the art history fanart series I’m doing for Hetalia.
I’ve got a large portion of the background and their face and bodies done. I’m not entirely done with the skin just because I haven’t taken into account reflecting colors. I’m mostly just getting the shadows right. And the skin tones. I didn’t want both of them to have the same skin color so I made Romano slightly more fair skinned, and Spain more olive complected
I got a bit timid with the marker, but I plan to make the shadows very heavy, like Caravaggio’s work.
More to come later.
Also I started a sketch of Spain’s Velazquez work, I’ll post it as I get it more done.
